Sophia Hestad

Miss Hestad has a background in electrical engineering and has been working for Emerald Built Environments for the last two years to complete energy modeling and LEED certifications. Prior to that she worked in the automation industry working with control panels and system sizing. Now as a project engineer she has worked with new construction and existing buildings to develop energy models for residential, commercial, healthcare, retail, and industrial buildings. She has also worked with Arc to track building performance for LEED v4.1 EBOM certification. Through her knowledge of engineering she is able to understand and create energy models to examine building envelopes, power consumption, and heating and cooling systems.
