At Emerald Built Environments, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. Our mission is to develop a sustainable future and we do it by working with businesses and organizations to create spaces that are healthy for people and the planet. That’s why we've set an ambitious goal to enhance 2,030 sustainable environments by the year 2030. Our commitment to sustainable building practices has never been stronger, and we take immense pride in the strides we've already made. (We're thrilled to announce that as of the release of this blog, we've already enhanced 1,600 environments toward our audacious goal!)

As we continue to move closer to our target, it's important for us to take a moment to pause and reflect. In 2024, we find ourselves in a year of both reflection and celebration as we embark on an extraordinary journey: "365 Days of Sustainability."

What is 365 Days of Sustainability All About?

Currently, Emerald is immersed in a year-long, daily social media campaign that is unlike any other. For 365 consecutive days — 366 technically for Leap Year — we are dedicated to sharing snippets of our sustainability projects through our social media channels. The goal of the campaign is to inform and delight our followers, celebrate our clients, and hopefully, inspire individuals and businesses to join their peers and competitors in the sustainability movement.

This isn’t our first rodeo. Back in 2021, we embarked on a similar adventure, and the impact it had on our community was nothing short of inspiring. Our followers flooded us with likes, shares, and inspiring feedback that fueled our determination to persist in our mission.

So, in 2024, we're doing it all over again — because the need to celebrate our clients and their hard work never goes out of style and we hope it helps the movement spread like wildfire.
